Question - Should Rohit be our permanent limited overs captain?

So far Kohli's captaincy to me seems to be suspiciously along the lines of -

1. Bat First - Hopefully Rohit goes bonkers and me and Dhawan will chip in with some runs, then we choke them with scoreboard pressure. Hopefully the rest of the batting doesn't totally **** around.
2. Bat Second - We let em score as many runs as they can, then I go bonkers and maybe one of Rohit and Dhawan chip in with some runs. Hopefully the rest of the batting doesn't totally **** around.

Have you seen anything out of the ordinary from Rohit w.r.t captaincy? ODI captaincy doesn't particularly require tactical genius TBF. If you're inherently conservative as a captain (Ponting, Dhoni), you should be fine as an ODI captain.

Anurag Bhide: "The average scores for batsmen who've scored over 10 ODI hundreds, for the innings in which the hundreds were scored, lie in the range of 110 to 130. The outliers are Viv Richards and David Warner on 135 and 136. Then there's Rohit Sharma, laughing in the face of stats, bowlers, short boundaries and flat pitches, on 149." -- That's a great bit of stats nerdery, my friend. Here's Sundar.
Interesting cricinfo comment shocker. Well done Anurag Bhide.

He seems to be better than Kohli in IPL, although that could also be a team balance issue. Also somewhat reduces the burden on Kohli.
