Yes Pukara has a tendency to score quick in tricky situations. Remember him playing a stroke filled knock against AUS in 2010 in 4th innings.

He used to do this a lot more often back in the day though. I recall him going at good clips in the 2013 whitewash of Australia and against few other teams at home when he was averaging 60+.

He absolutely dominated Steyn and Philander in his 153 at Joburg. He started off 9 in 60 balls or something and got his next hundred at better than a run a ball.

He played well in Mohali last year also when we were chasing ~100 against England. He's almost always good in these situations, in these conditions at least. He also made some decent declaration runs at a fast clip against NZ and Bangladesh.

Why no Chandimal in One day squad. For gods sake. He just scored a good century against Strong indian team only to be dropped from odi squad. What's the point in taking others when you have in form batsmen. Don't know what's wrong with SL board
