West Indies have not won a series in years. This SL side whitewashed Aus at home and WI away and have a genuinely good bowler in Herath.I'm fairly sure the millions of runs scored by Voges et al against the Windies at home a few years back were roughly as facile.
Herath isn't playing. I will admit though, I'm not exactly paying close attention to this series; it doesn't exactly promsie enthralling cricket.West Indies have not won a series in years. This SL side whitewashed Aus at home and WI away and have a genuinely good bowler in Herath.

Think SL are still a decent team and will be competitive with most teams in Asian conditions (prolly beating the white teams as well). Thing is this Indian team might be the best team in Asian conditions of all time. Ashwin and Jadeja are basically Murali level in Asia so you have not one but two Muralis bowling at you. Couple that with a decent seam attack and a strong batting lineup I don't see many teams in history winning against this Indian team. It's pretty painful to see SL at these depths. Really hoping they've reached the nadir.
They beat Pakistan 2-0 as well....I think you're overstating this series a lot.
No doubt, India is a ridiculously strong team right now. Rocking that many batsmen averaging >40, actually having a decent set of seam bowling options, and finally finding some useful-looking depth behind Ashwin and Jadeja means they're an extremely good Test team. I'm looking forward to seeing how they do in South Africa, as long as they finally **** off Vijay for good.
But Sri Lanka is in a serious, serious hole. Beating Australia because they're all new levels of lolbad vs spin doesn't change that.
Not just this series though. There was a series earlier this year in SL too, same level of domination post which they went and whitewashed Pakistan in UAE. So it's not just the Aus series....I think you're overstating this series a lot.
