Blimey, they'll get this in about 35 overs.

In answer to your question, YES it is the worse England opening pair ever, and I remember the whole of the 90s:blink:

I dont think ive ever seen a more disgraceful performance with the ball ever. To be out of the game in 12 overs with 321 on the board gives you an idea how great these bowlers are.

Is this for real?

Just when you think it can't get worse.
That's the beauty of this England "attack". Just when you think they've plumbed the depths, they discover new levels of incompetence previously uncharted by so-called professionals. Following this on Cricinfo, you can see the writer thumbing through his thesaurus to find alternatives to "dire", "hapless", "horrendous" and "abysmal".

You can only wonder what the locals are making of it all. Hopefully they're giving the useless tossers some of the worst abuse ever heard in a sporting venue.

At least FST managed to miss this display.

I wonder how Strauss will react to his experience over the last few weeks. Either it can put him off the job for life, or it will make him the hardest nosed captain imaginable, determined never to have to put up with this garbage again. Hopefully the latter.
