Their lengths have been a bit all over the place tbf but the good part is that their lines haven't strayed a lot where it's drivel. The batsmen have had to always play for that extra but that the ball has done or be ready for it at least.

Yeah, after the first hour or so when he looked pretty bad it's been like he's been batting on a completely different pitch.

That 50 might give Hales some confidence. I think considering the weather for the next couple of days and SL batting line-up, 250 could be a good score.

A couple of overs of Herath may be good here for SL.....

Also at Leeds against SL two years ago, iirc. I know their final figures weren't the worst, but they pretty much wasted the new ball.

Oddly enough, Leeds has seen some of our worst performances over the years. Which is odd, as it's supposed to boast more traditionally 'English' conditions.
