Two test series.Isn't it a bit of a concern that all the players have stood up at some point in the series, and yet it still ended in a loss? I mean, Cook, Bell, Broad and Anderson all have credit built up in the bank (Cook's deteriorating far quicker than the others'), while Robson, Ballance, Moeen, Plunkett and Jordan are all new faces and performed at some point.
That leaves Root, who was very good, and Prior, who was terrible.
The options basically become demolishing the core of the old side even further, and picking a presumably inconsistent youngster in their place, or persisting with the not-quite-as-good-as-they-once-were-but-experienced-customers for the sake of some stability in the team.
As bad as:

On performances in this game the players that deserve to be dropped are the four that won't be. Cook, Prior, Broad and Anderson
I enjoyed Cabinet96's exchange with this knob following the tweet.
