International Debutant
I should really have guessed from the man who will probably retire as the greatest wicket taker in history of international cricket. You wonder were the next wicket is coming from Australia looking really strong.

Yeah what i was thinking, looking for a big one here.Played Jaques, again.
Can tell by the humourous celebration that he really wants to get on and make a big score though.

Won't be laughing come SundayNah, that was just Saggers with a typical bad-call. (Brackenhurst)
LOL @ Slater calling a headbutt a Liverpool kiss.
You can put that two reasons, fisrt bsssasstting wasn't tto eassy at Brisbane on day 1 and second he might have been lightly nervous coming into that test, but today he has just looked awesome!!!!Jaques looks twice the player today he did at brisbane...far less indecision in his movements and he's really taken advantage of all the day balls today. Still not that convinced by his technique though.
Agreed!!!No wonder Murali has never picked up too many wickets against Australia. These guys aren't men, they're machines.
Can't see attacks consisting of Harmison, Anderson, Broad, Tremlett, Sidebottom troubling him (or anyone for that matter), come '09.Jaques' technique reminds me a little of Doug Walters, principally in the backlift to backward point department.
Dougie really struggled in england with that technique as the ball moved around a lot, but Jaques has been tearing county attacks apart the past few years, hasn't he?
Are you backing Flintoff to retire by then mate??Can't see attacks consisting of Harmison, Anderson, Broad, Tremlett, Sidebottom troubling him (or anyone for that matter), come '09.
