There have been one or two really slow innings and a few innings that were good but could've been better in one or two areas.80 really isn't too slouchy. But not only are we irrational cricket fans, we're on the internet as well. DROP HIM!!!1
Also, slick fielding down at third man there, excellent camera work (y)
As opposed to Sachin Tendulkar the homeless man who is regularly seen eating out of bins and shouting at strangers about alien abductions around Melbourne.Lol @ Mark Taylor: "Sachin Tendulkar - the great Indian player -". Most unneccesary clarification ever.
If past experience is anything to go by, Clarke with ease. Had a very good time against Murali when he played in 06-07, check out his average against SL in tests...Murali Vs Clarke, who will win this contest?
haha harsh critique, but hilarious nonetheless. As opposed to Sachin Tendulkar the homeless man who is regularly seen eating out of bins and shouting at strangers about alien abductions around Melbourne.
Mark Taylor is a twit, i'll be buggered how he manages to even stay alive and do day to day things, seems borderline ******** sometimes.
Yeh I'd have to agree with that. Murali is no way at his best anymore as well.If past experience is anything to go by, Clarke with ease. Had a very good time against Murali when he played in 06-07, check out his average against SL in tests...
It's clear the commentary is geared towards casual fans of the game who only really follow Australian cricket, particularly when it's an ODI. I definitely get the feeling Taylor's commentary - in particular - would be a lot more insightful if he found himself on radio or on Test Match Sofa. Healy's obviously a bit different though; clearly has no idea.Lol @ Mark Taylor: "Sachin Tendulkar - the great Indian player -". Most unneccesary clarification ever.
Still a league above your average air conditioner salesman, though.Mark Taylor is a twit, i'll be buggered how he manages to even stay alive and do day to day things, seems borderline ******** sometimes.
Ive had that feeling for years and years, it seems they always treat every day like its the first time cricket has been broadcast on tv.It's clear the commentary is geared towards casual fans of the game who only really follow Australian cricket, particularly when it's an ODI. I definitely get the feeling Taylor's commentary - in particular - would be a lot more insightful if he found himself on radio or on Test Match Sofa. I will never buy Fujitsu!Still a league above your average air conditioner salesman, though.
You just gave a wrap to two conservative voters in one post. What have you become?Mark Taylor would have more cricket knowledge in his little finger than every poster on CW added together, frankly. Save maybe Jack and SJS. The problems with his commentary are his voice and the fact he's talking to a lowest common denominator audience, like Cribb said.
Haha I've been thinking the same, but it's not even yorkers.Dead set, when there's a yorker, ball sounds like its hitting the stumps, not the bat. Third time I've looked up thinking that someone must've been bowled.
Getting that effect on radio too tbh.Dead set, when there's a yorker, ball sounds like its hitting the stumps, not the bat. Third time I've looked up thinking that someone must've been bowled.
