Well, the WI have ****ed this one up spectacularly. Now Benn edges a four.

When I saw R.Powell I was thinking they had plucked Ricardo out of the wilderness again...

Great innings from Evin Lewis, he's a good talent. That's hundreds in T20 and ODI cricket now. A big hundred too.

Really dissapointed in Jason Holders captaincy. He'snot learning. Rovman Powell still hasn't bowled, neither has Carter. They are both extremely handy seamers and Nurse and Benn where going at 6 per over. He just has no plan B or imagination. He has also basically lost us two matches at the death with poor batting and running between the wickets.

He needs to significantly up his game, he is becoming the new Darren Sammy only not as good tactically. His bowling has impoved a bit though, I'll give him that.

Although I am happy SL won, this side reeks of issues with selection and favoritism by Sanath J as selector. And all these rumors about agents getting their hands dirty is disturbing.

I cannot believe guys like M Siriwardene are not being picked. He was one of SL's best finds from 2015 and has the potential to be a really good player. Sihn

I forgot about him - thought he could be a mini-Shakib when I saw him..

I can see sanath having too much influence - do you know this as a fact or just that it's the most likely scenario?

Sanath does have a lot of influence - a) he's a superstar b)he's a political figure now in SL. It is a fact. The rumours about player agents having influence over selections is a common thing that the local media says but this could be because many journo's in SL hate player agents. But who knows because 1 agent has pretty much the entire SL team in his books.

Then of course there is the issue with the change in leadership at SLC earlier this year. And with that came a complete overhaul of players that were being tried. Siriwardene was picked under the old regime. As soon as the new team of selectors came into being they dropped him and just started throwing mud at all the selections the old committee made - standard practice at SLC.

There is really no reason to drop Siriwardene, he scored runs in the Tests he played + he did well in the ODI's. He could have been a good lower order hitter (SL lack these badly). And his SLA's were ok. He's just one example. There are others who are in the side with on reason and they don't get dropped.

What a game. Almost another tie which would've made this triangular series unique. Amazing West Indies have yet to chase a 300+ score: don't think it will happen for another 8 or so years after this game.

Another terrible captaincy performance from Jason Holder. This time the spinners caused havoc and Kraigg Braithwaite didn't bowl an over whilst Carlos Braithwaite was getting hammered. He really has no feel for the game, everything seems like a pre-match plan, there's no flexibility.

This Chisoro's dudes having a good one. Does he bowl both medium and spin or just spin?

That wasn't a result I expected, even given the prior crapness of the Windies' batting and how they let the game slip from such a dominant position.

Vandersay showing his potential yet again, I don't get why he isn't given a consistent run in the team..Yes he had a bad run but who doesn't and its not like we have a huge reserve of bowlers trying to get into the team..most of them are at the physio's...

Well he was injured straight after he debuted for a bit.

But I agree he and Sandakan are the future in terms of spin for SL.
