At least we can probably now confirm the past few Tests have been "yeah we're just gonna pick five bowlers" and not "Jansen is an allrounder" - but still, **** me dead.
That's Bouchball for you - stack the side with bowlers and hope that they can also contribute enough with the bat in order to make the score competitive. Despite the problems with that, it's working more often than not, so they're probably going to stick with it.

Bring back #Kallisball.

That probably should've been 120ao but you can't argue much when you lose the toss. England need a minimum of a 100 run lead. Would be nice if someone besides the usual suspects stands up.

I'd agree that Robinson is better but as a partisan England fan I have a much more favourable view on Potts.

I think with him you need to take into account that at the start of the England home season he was nowhere near in the reckoning for a Test spot, full Natarajan distance down the pecking order. He only made the squad due to a bright start to the County season and simultaneous injuries to Robinson, Woakes, Wood, Archer, Stone, Mahmood, Fisher, SCurran and I'm probably forgetting more. Being called up in that context he's been way better than could have been expected. By all rights his bowling should have been a major weak link in the side, but I don't think it has been, even if you think his figures flatter him a bit. Obviously he's young enough to hopefully keep improving too.
Potts is no Natarajan. Natarajan is the sort of fairytale that almost never happens in test cricket and deserves more respect than being compared with ****ing Potts ffs

Petersen is becoming a real concern quickly for SA. Showed some promise but quickly falling into the looks good but gives it away.
almost every one of your batsmen seem to fall under this category for some reason

except for Elgar. He looks crabby even when he is approaching a double century
