Strongest batting xi for sure... Mulder hasn't had as good a time with the ball in County but if he keeps a tight off stump line he could create pressure.

Tough on Ngidi but for the purposes of team balance you can understand him being benched instead of Nortje when Mulder is playing.

Markram and to some extent KP2 have been looking amazing, cruising to that 10 to 40 stage and contriving to get out. KP2 still has some rope left at least...

Well they say Ngidi is injured, I just hope if he wasnt injured this ridiculous team gymnastics would not be done. Not a fan at all.

Nice of Elgar to remind people the series is at 1 - 1 at the toss. You would swear it wasnt....

Of the team selection or the team gymnastics?
Team gymnastics, where we end up playing players out of position so we can cater for other players

Petersen tends to get out of single digits though. In 10 Tests he has only been dismissed below 10 once. But has been dismissed before 25 on nine occasions in 16 innings. He makes a start, then goes for a drive and gets out. Markram keeps getting out in different ways, and most of the time for attacking shots that he doesn't have to play.

Will the test go ahead? Read that the boxing at the O2 on the weekend might now be off because of The Queen's passing.
