Really looking forward to seeing Thando Ntini bowl. He already seems to be a fair bit taller than his old man, will be interesting to see what he can do.

Parnell dropped to WP amateurs. Qaasim Adams dropped for the last game by Cobras and now also back with WP. Jason Smith failed with the bat in the 3-day game for WP and now not even in the 50-over WP team.

Breetzke scoring runs in the 3-day game for EP and now 94 today in the 50-over game. Building up nicely. Be good to see him in the U19 WC with runs in the triangular with England.Namibia starting Wednesday.

New young quick at Northerns. 19 year-old left-armer Ruben Trumpelmann. Saw him in Club Champs last year and lots to work with.

Seems to have jumped Migael Pretorius and Corbin Bosch.

Officially with Justin Obtong getting the Proteas fielding gig he has retired from domestic cricket.

Puttick probably will do soon if he isn't in the Cobras 4-day team.

Which probably leaves M.van Wyk, Cook, Davids, A.Morkel as the 35+s left in donestic cricket.

But there is always time for a come back.

I see Neil McKenzie has been playing club cricket and Hersch made his return this past week

Gerald Coetzee 10 4-18 The next strike bowler off the conveyor belt. Like Rabada there is serious potential with the bat too. Modern day - it seems you can's carry too many number XIs but going down the line Ngidi, Dupavillon, Olivier aren't really #11s - more #10s

SA u19s chasing 90 - Breetzke dealing with it easily so far.

Semi-Pro cricket

Not much around.

Jason Smith trying to find form and has got a 50 & a 5-for. Galiem really struggling at the moment.

Great to see a young player like Rickelton take on the short ball at 2:25 - real chance for him and Marques Ackerman to keep their spots ahead of the 50-over comp. Will Dwaine Pretorius get his spot back ?
