*Official* South Africa Tour of Sri Lanka 2018

He's possibly also there for the T20 as he seems to be one the preferred openers in that format.
I reckon they rate him as a potential world cup option. Taking Amla's issues away he has ability to score 100s and at his best he can tear you apart with just pure stroke-play. The only concern is probably his consistency because can he keep enough of the good one's out.

Hash hopefully kicks on.

Great start for Reeza on debut.

Battle of the off-side punching ?

Reeza always had a lot of talent, looks good...... Markram must feel a little hard done by, because this pitch is much flatter and easier for batting than the previous. Ball coming on nicely.

Yeah it is a beauty of a pitch. True pace and bounce.

Hopefully both Reeza & Aiden can build on ODI experience before WC. If we win here maybe give Amla a rest in 4th or 5th ODI.

Couldn't have asked for a more Kimberley like pitch to make his debut on ! Well played Reeza. This is his best format.

Don't like this partnership between Duminy/Miller.... much to conservative. If we want to play the all rounders in Mulder and Andile then we need to trust they will help take us to a good total. Them coming in with 5 overs and under pressure because the previous 10 went at 5.5 after a good start, gives us nothing with regards showing what they are capable of.

JP has been impressive in these 3 games.
Sri Lanka are wretched in this format but it’s been a good comeback from JP. Scored less than 100 runs in the 5 match India series with a S/R below 70 and so far this series he has scored close to 200 runs with a S/R above 135.

congrats to South Africa on a series win. to be honest, we have been outplayed in every department in every game so far..we have looked one dimensional and clueless..
