This statement is a mystery to me. If names were named it might make sense. The two that come to mind are Kallis and Smith. Both have had to have operations so I doubt the injuries were faked. Kallis' injury has been a long time one but it has only been taken care of now. Maybe because he was so necessary to the side. Now the op. has become urgent. Smith got injured during his holiday. Accidents happen....At least credit to him for having the courage to tour as opposed to some others in SA who decided to hide behind injury for fear of premature termination of their Test career or a long lay off had their poor form continued !!
After a few close LBW shouts his luck runs him out .oz_fan said:Hasim Amla run out.
That must have been pretty convenient for him.jot1 said:Smith got injured during his holiday. Accidents happen.
Accidents are convenient? Especially excruciatingly painful ones? Have you ever torn ligaments?JASON said:That must have been pretty convenient for him.
Yes, and in my ankle too. Hurts when you actually tear the ligaments but a couple of days later it doesn't hurt, just swells up quite a bit. Admittedly I don't play international cricket so I'm not sure how much strain would actually be on it.jot1 said:Accidents are convenient? Especially excruciatingly painful ones? I fear if I come come in your vicinity I might end up with one !jot1 said:Accidents are convenient? Especially excruciatingly painful ones? Have you ever torn ligaments?
Oh, don't worry! I'm anti-violence. (I do know some people who aren't, though. )JASON said:I fear if I come come in your vicinity I might end up with one !
Your Captain .... Anything personal there Jotjot1 said:Yeah! Don't slag my captain!
Not when Hall replaces him, it doesn't. Hall may be an OK allrounder in Saffie conditions, but a Test-class opening bat he is not.JASON said:(Smith's absence IMHO strengthens SA rather than depletes it, but thats my personal view and I am glad I am not in the vicinity of JOT 1 when I say this ! Even if she were a non violent person ! )
