SL playing really well here. In such cases I have usually seen mclaren come and torment the SC sides. is he playing?

Well, apart from the wicket that's exactly the start we needed, only 6 an over required from here on in, doable, although we can't afford to leave much for our tail given it's weaker than normal

wow that mustbe bad then lol..watching the Eng v Ind test match yesterday, highlightedhow far we are behind as a team in terms of our bowlers being able to bat..100 run partnership from Indians and 50 so far from Eng(although Root is batting there tbf with Anderson)

Well, the game is up, but I'd like to see a bit of a rearguard action and see these guys at least try to set up a late dash, I don't expect it to come off at all but I want to see a bit of application and fight

SL still has a chance here, these two are capable of doing it, just need be careful with spinners, Sachi can bat, Mendis is also okayish, I think SL can still win this if they pull it to 100 of last 60, they can win it.

It does look like Angelo is trying to get it to that and then have a slog by the looks of it.. not the worst plan I guess.

Yeah, can't wait, whoever wins at Galle will probably take the series though - SSC is a very flat pitch and with both sides have strong batting line-ups. On the other hand, Sri Lanka have the spin advantage with Herath but SA have the superior pace attack and the wildcard that is Tahir, gonna be really good cricket I hope.

Good effort from the middle order today but was never gonna be enough after a poor performance in the field and the top order throwing it away, Herath's bowling the only real positive leading up to the tests, well done SA

yeah you never know with TAhir. I can't believe Pak didn't win the UAE series against SA thanks to TAhir
