Nice to see batting depth back in Proteas squad. Was not so long ago when it appeared like the tail of Proteas batting was longer than the capable batsmen in their eleven.

henry didn't do well in the tests, no. In ODIs henry's been shafted a bit though. Played a couple of poor games in aus where everyone got pumped and now apparently southee is permanent again. Other than that he's been consistently our second best ODI pacer in the past couple of years.

Fair and I still think he's often a better ODI new ball bowler than Southee. Southee is a better bowler at the death (or past the 30 over mark on a road) though is by no means great there. Henry would still be in my squad for the CT in England.

I don't get the thinking from Boult, the full wide outside off is the delivery, he's not going to get lucky like that inside edge every time, you have to play percentages. The Jammy inside edge scared Boult away.

Superb from Boult, begs the question why it took so long to attempt that length. Was even attempting it earlier, execution was sublime.
