Anyway, De Grandhomme is performing his role with the bat here perfectly. Not a match situation we're in very often, but it's one that suits him very well.

Hey guys it's that time when everyone starts to talk at length about the timing of the declaration.

... or we could just hit until we're all out, now Henry is out.

You Kiwis are weird. Who do you actually like? Hamish Marshall?

Top knock from CdG. Slightly different celebration to Jadeja.

International Vice-Captain
According to the cricinfo stay up at the moment, in 1953 NZ batted for 171 overs to make 245. Outstanding attacking cricket that one.

Damn, new ball was too much for our tail.

We can wish that we'd scored more or faster, but we're still in with a great chance now.

Not Terrible
Lord Colin did almost enough to catch us up to where we need to be. We're definitely still favourites but I reckon South Africa are more than capable of getting out of this.

gonna need a ripping spell from henry up front. there was very little spin for maharaj and duminy so not sure how much use patel and santa will be.

Sure are, they're blockathon experts more than anyone else in world cricket. FDP a huge wicket, Elgar too.

Even though it was the downhillest of skiing, I think CdG finally getting some runs to go with his h4x bowling should earn him some sort of real run in the side. I think rolling with the 6-8 who played in this game (although possibly not in the same order) with the three main quicks makes sense moving forward.
