SA were 180/6 going into the final day of the first Test on a good batting pitch.

1st test was pretty evenly set-up going into the last, I still have massive doubts that 1), we'd have taken those last wickets quickly enough to have time to score around 250, and 2) that we wouldn't have collapsed late on day 5, which we've shown a real propensity to do.

The gap between the two sides in Wellington was enough that I'd take a 0-1 defeat as kind of flattering.
