Hmm, my theory is to get Bracewell out.

The way he's batting, SA can surely bring in a few fielders. Take right now for an example, there are 2 balls left this over with Bracewell on strike, bring em all in.

What's the purpose of the fine leg? Stupid..
They should be looking to attack both batsmen as much as possible. Its always a mistake in these situations to forget about getting the established guy out.

When Williamson is on strike, they encourage the single. When Bracewell is on strike, they bring single stoppers in apart from a fine leg. You can't get a batsman (especially tail-enders) out easily if there's an easy single into the leg side every time. If Bracewell is on strike for just the last ball or two then they'll drop the field back a bit to get him back on for the next over.

WAG Kane.

FFS what are you talking about an easy single into the leg side every time. Bowl the ****ing ball in the right area and Bracewell is not going to get an easy single every time.

Smith field placement for Bracewell has been terrible.

What do you do when you want to roll the tail quickly? You bowl full and ****ing straight.

Top knock young man. Has come of age in his last 3 innings of 77, 39 & now a hundred against arguably the best pace attack in the world on pitches with a bit in them.

Madness. Get him out - Bracewell really shouldn't be running on the last ball or two of an over..
Getting a batsman out isn't about pushing some magic button - it's about planning. International cricket captains do sometimes know better than us armchair experts, y'know.

Bingo. So set the field accordingly. The only ball Bracewell has made runs of lately has been from a rubbish ball outside leg.

And there you ****ing go a dropped catch, should have been closer.

Bowlers aren't robots, when trying to bowl full and straight they will occasionally slip on to the pads.

Wow. y'know International captains sometimes make mistakes. I realize it's about planning you really think that your talking to some armchair expert who knows **** all - but it's so obvious that he's missing a trick with quite negative tactics.
