It's crept up on us rather quick. I will watch most of this Test match, tomorrow being a holiday and "working from home" the rest of the week.

SA have historically been India's strongest non-Asian opponents in India, 2015 aside, so it should be an interesting series. Think they might surprise a few people.

Makram and the spin king Dean Elgar - had some impressive figures on those absolutely flat pitches in 2015

On form, Jadeja should bat ahead of not only Ashwin but Saha also. But I see Jadeja's name at 9 in the team sheet - so you never know.

You may need five bowlers but you also probably need about twelve batsmen and you can't play 17 players, so something has to give.

Talk the pitch is dry so they gone with 3 spinners but with rain aand humidity there and a possibility through every minute of the test it isn't necassary.

Worst case scenario now is Philander & Muthusamy lake any threat and Piedt doesn't stand up.
