This might not mean too much because he's such an outstanding batsman, but Kallis still looks far from comfortable here. Still won't be surprised to see him play another indeterminate stroke a la Headingley.

Almost identical to KP's dismissal. The difference being McKenzie was given out for the right reason.

Certainly looking a damn sight better now.

Flintoff needs to get Prince around-the-wicket else there's trouble a-brewing.

Jacques Major keeping out the Yorkers well enough here, but as it usually will do to most batsmen that inswinger snuck through and almost hit the stumps.

178/4 is not an awful position to have the opposition in but I am so worried from the last two games that it might becomes 450/4...let's hope for at least one more before tea and some batting from England tomorrow

Haha, no chance was Ambrose ever going to catch that stood up or back.

Jack Blackham or Bob Taylor would never have taken that.

I asked this before and I'll ask it again: why doesn't Ian Bell bowl more?

FC career bowling:

Bell average 31.70, SR 57.8
Collingwood average 38.42, SR 76.1

Quite. The only chance he had of taking it was through sheer luck standing up. Standing back he wouldn't have got near it. Yet the commentators see it as somehow justifying their theory.

Vaughan would have hoped that his quicks would have made way more use of conditions, surely.
Indeed. What's more, in what you'd expect to be more friendly conditions, England have swung the ball for fewer overs than South Africa did.

So either the SAfricans just got a very good ball or England haven't done the shining properly.
