PS did anyone see me on the telly yesterday, my little girl reckons she did but I am not convinced, she did ring me up to tell me though
Dammit forgot about you - would have looked more carefully if so.

What time was it that you were apparently spotted (about)?

Possibly...although the reality is both Flintoff & Ambrose would probably be good enough to edge one of the countless number of deliveries Anderson hasn't got close to this morning.
I hope for Harris' sake he doesn't get a wicket with a no-ball.

Really, really annoys me to see spinners cutting the popping-crease. Just bowl with your foot behind it FFS.

Consecutive fours for Anderson.

There's really nothing in this pitch for the bowlers.
There is a bit in this pitch for the bowlers actually, certainly a fair bit more than Lords, however it still is very slow and flat. However the problem with Headingly, almost unjustly at times, is that the conditions can reach extremes at times from session to session depending on the weather conditions. Lords, however, has to have been the poorest pitch I have seen in quite a while.

Hopefully there's no particularly bad damage there. But surely Anderson would be mad not to retire here?

Actually, thinking about this, I've never seen a nightwatchman retire hurt. Wonder, if he does and can return, when he will return?

Slow-mo makes it look evil; Jimmy ducked right into it. :-O His grill earned its corn there. The way he's moving his jaw now doesn't look too clever.

Great bouncer from Steyn all the same tho.

Looks like Adam Lyth is the twelfth-man today.

Anderson to carry on. Doesn't seem to sensible to me TBH - can he still see the ball?

Meh the thing is that it would probably be better for England if he came off right now. Hes done his job for England already this morning and hes only more likely to be dismissed with the blow now.

Totally agree, brainless if not courageous decision for mine
