Right Wood - do something to keep your place
Similar to when we had Giles, if you have a good/great pace attack the spinner only needs to play a holding role to rest the quicks. As long as they not smashed to all parts they are an asset. Whether either would be as useful these days given the amount of shorter version cricket that is played and has transferred to test cricket I have no clue but both did a very good job for their sides at the time and were largely ridiculed for it.Exactly. We dont NEED a strike spin bowler. Just one that can apply pressure. In the context of our bowling attack, paul harris was severely underrated.
Rather he didn't. Looks innocuous and a waste of a player at present.Right Wood - do something to keep your place
Pretty much.Am I the only one who doesn't think Hash nicked that?
Yeah I think you're on your own on this one.Am I the only one who doesn't think Hash nicked that?
Can see daylight between bat and ball on the face-on camera; even when the paused at the spike.
It's picked up something else there, for mine.

Give it 3 more overs and his average will be over 40My dreams of a spell of 5-20 went in the first over
Nah. Australia aren't playing.Has Warne started talking about the declaration yet?
Actually he might as well give ****ing Ballance a bowl - this is absolutely desperateRoot should have a twirl himself
Same 4 holes as we had 2/3 years ago though. No opening partner for Cook, lack of another middle order bat, decent spinner and back up pace bowler (though Woakes being injured doesn't help there) and no real prospect of filling the void really. There's only three, maybe four, actual holes in this side but they are gaping. Then again four is a lot.
