Who will be England's man of the series?
Really tough actually. I'd go with Prior had he not dropped Amla yesterday. If I had to make a call now it'd probably have to be Cook. I actually think Anderson has bowled better than Cook has batted but a series bowling average of 50, while slightly deceiving, can surely never be enough to win the award.

KP is topping both bowling and batting averages for England.
No he's not actually; he's third in batting.

Good question - they're not gonna give it to him are they. A lot will depend on what happens in the rest of this match. Broad could get it if if he gets a few more today.

Amla gone, and hopefully the cheers and applause has woken up that bloke in the members.

IIRC the MOTS is awarded by the oppo's coaching team. If I were Kirsten and feeling a wee bit mischievous...

Ouch.

Eta: on the discussion should be 3 options for all dismissal types.

UC (no ref)
Out
No

(On lbws I'd rather reduce the radius of Umpires call first tho)

So ... 257 ahead, Duminy and Philander to come. Smith probably won't declare - why should he? Are we just going to chase regardless, even if it's 350 at five an over? Death or glory stuff? A 1-0 loss isn't much use, after all.

That lbw review was very similar in height to the one that bowled Amla. Both hitting the top of the stumps. Amla didn't get to review it did he?

Are the ball-tracking technology manufacturers not confident enough of the accuracy of their technology?

Crikey - Finn gets another. ADB gone now!
