Oh well that was fun while it lasted. Now to see if Jimmy can work some magic with the new ball.

One innings game, game on.

Of DeViller's keeping, its been pretty average to Tahir. A drop or 2 and missed stumpings. Been reasonable to the quicks bar a lack of coverage making the slips being closer than they need to be, maybe a handful of byes.

As I've mentioned its getting better.

not watching but wicket flat as anything right?

if england get a couple of early wickets they should be trolling the **** out of SA and dropping 'choke' into every second sentence they use out there.

Flat, but the new ball is swinging, so Jimmeh needs to be at his best. Wish we had Onions, or even Bres over Finn.

The story doesn't change much for this England batting, utterly incapable of setting stall and cashing in when the opportunity is provided, irrespective of how good the conditions are. 5 batsmen with 40+ averages, and yet being bailed out by a technically inept youngster in his 3rd test has to count as downright embarrassing. It is a story that they will no doubt have to revisit, barring a major brain fade from South Africa, as I dont think anyone seriously believes that they are capable of scoring 300+ in the 4th innings to win a test match anywhere in the world let alone against Steyn and co.

Jeez, its like half the posters on this forum are secretly Boycott Alt accounts
Wouldn't it be nice to actually piss them off for another half an hour, make them suffer for the dropped catch? Even if they only scored another 10-15 runs, it gets in their heads of the opening bats - particularly Smith.

First couple of overs have been pony tbh, not full enough, Jimmy didn't make the batsmen play and Broad was all over the place, not really the start we want, granted only two overs but still.

I can't stand Broad's over-appealing. This is what the Australian team of the 2000's must have been like, I'd guess

One day, when Stuart Broad is captain, he will review an LBW, it will still be not out, he won't believe it and review it again just to make sure.
