Now now...Completely agree; such a massive insult to Bell.

Not unheard of from Cook, either. I remember him taking a couple of absolute blinders in NZ a few years back and then dropping easier ones. Very welcome indeed though.Always the way drop the sitters and catch the snorters, Collingwood school of slip catching
Yes I was reminded of one that the other day on some highlights packageNot unheard of from Cook, either. I remember him taking a couple of absolute blinders in NZ a few years back and then dropping easier ones. Very welcome indeed though.
Purely numbers, purely numbersYou're going to make me very angry comparing Amla to Bell. Particularly Bell. It's just not on.
I respect your opinion but honestly reckon Amla to be a class above Bell even though the stats admittedly do not yet indicate this. When all is said and done I'm convinced the figures will make this discussion as one-sided as the Sanga vs Laxman controversy I and a few others were enjoying on this site some weeks ago with a knowledgeable Indian poster who had perhaps chosen the wrong side of the argument to sharpen his debating skills.Don't think there's a lot between Amla and Bell tbh.
Always the problem at Headingley, can go to relatively flat one session to swinging round corners the next, bit of a lottery for the teams.Forecast looks "ok" tomorrow but worry for England is that when they will be batting it will likely be in conditions not too different to what South Africa have had for the past couple of hours and you would expect Steyn and co. will cause more damage time England reach 160 odd.
South Africa will be disappointed that none of their batsman were got out on in testing conditions but good knock from Virus. Snuffed out the LBW so far.
