Well we know it won't be a batting one.
He actually deserves a wicket here. Hope he concedes 10 more runs first though.

They really should declare now I reckon; lead over 252 and they've got the "magic" four sessions that I always reckon is a fair amount of time to set yourself to finish off a game. I hope they bat on though; keen on the Bopara average triple ton more than anything else itbt.

Could have meant he was going for less than 3 an over though and not really let his head drop while bowling. Not as bad as the 2 B's who are going at 3.5 an over or nearly 4.
Broad especially hasn't bowled anything like he has been doing, just doesn't seemed to have found any kind of rhythm all inning.

Ooooh today has gone well hasn't it. :-O

As a cricket fan I hope they get the 400 partnership and Kallis gets a double ton now before they declare. Been an exhibition by Smith, Amla and Kallis over the last couple of days. Painful but great to watch at the same time.

Just hope the buggers have used up their runs for the series here.

Good sportsmanship evident this afternoon.

Trott shaking Amla's hand just before he bowled, the England players applauding Amla off at tea.

It's good to see, and it's a good part of cricket that I hope never goes away.

Can't imagine soccer players doing it.

If anything it'd make sense to put England in after tea, Cook & Strauss will be knackered after this long in the field, probably prefer it for SA to bat on.

Swann contained yesterday but has hardly threatened at all today. Tough job, of course, but the fact he's a jibberer of the highest order makes it kind of sweet.

I definitely don't think 385 was a particularly good score considering the mediocre standard of South Africa's bowling so far and the flatness/slowness of the pitch. I can't really see England losing from here however given the weather around so they're in a really good position anyway.
Called the road and the fact that 385 was below par but FMD I never anticipated what was to follow, haha.

Glad the weather has held out though; potentially exciting finish coming up.

**** me, this has been fun, I think I'm just going to grind my genitals in a vice, all during tea, just so it can be as fun as those two sessions.

Now the fun begins.

Seriously can't give them a wicket before close, gonna be hard for the first 20 overs or so then once you're in make it count.
