Well first time seeing Bollinger myself. Was always under the impression that his pace similar to Bracken. Interesting looking bowler.

He's very much a rhythm bowler; his pace varies. He tends to bowl a bit slower in one day cricket as well, which is where most people would have seen him. Always been quite a bit quicker than Bracken regardless though.

Not a bad start from Bollinger. Nothing spectacular though.

Not an easy pitch to take wickets on with the sun out, as predicted. Could be a long day tomorrow for Australia.

Every time you post I'm thoroughly reminded that you really do know very little about Australian cricket.
:laugh:. Nah dawg. I definately know ALOT about Australian cricket & i would say without fear of contradiction, that YOU of al the Australian members on CW don't have a more indept knowledge of Australian cricket, whether it be modern or historical than myself.

But regardless. This test match is obviously the first time any non-Australian would had the chance to see Bollinger bowl live, and given that i have never seen Bollinger pace talked up as a 140ks bowler in the domestic season thread since last season. Any idea's i had of him prior to this short burst are vindicated.

He has played in England before, obviously you would know this though.
