seam movement seems to be dying off but still good line & lenght bowling form Pollock n Ntini since lunch, backing Punters n hodge to get throught it though...
Hodge might, but Punter didn't. Out to a good ball from Pollock. People might say it would have gone over the top, but I think it was a great decision by the umpire.

o dear Boucher missed it SA really bowling well, hope Hodge can cash in on that let off
It certainly wasn't an easy one, it would have been a screamer had Boucher held on to it, but Hodge doing the right thing in Perth, giving everything to the wide one.

Shows how poor some of your judgement is. Theres been movement since the start of play, its just that Aus have played it pretty well up to this point.

Aus in a bit of trouble, however with Symonds and Gilly there anything could happen. Lets hope Gilly regains his touch and Symonds plays his natural game.

I've said before Haydos' Oval knock is very overrated, even to the point of being a major factor in Aus losing the match, cos of how darn slow it was.
Personally I'd say that coming in the circumstances it's one of the best knocks I've ever seen.

Ntini you champion! You deserved that 5-for!!!

After Kemp dropped Gilchrist you could understand if Ntini dropped his head, but he kept up and got him in the same over. Just brilliant!

Well batted Aus!

Ponting wins the toss and bats in perfect bowling conditions
Hayden pulls a length ball straight up in the air
Langer- ditto
Hussey - ditto
Hodge edges a near wide
Gilchrist steers a rank long-hop to slip

Somebody tell them Xmas is Dec 25

This is the Ashes all over again

Gilchrist looked way out of form in NZ. I suppose he was a little annoyed that he wasn't rested and he's obviously arrived in Perth still feeling the pressure.

give the bowler some credit mate, ntini forced some them into these indiscretions or do u thrive in negative analysis

Gilly's test average now 50.91, I didn't think it would stay over 50 forever, but I didn't think he would drop form so severly in such a short space of time. Since the start of the Ashes he's looked half the batsman he was last year.

Australia really do look a little rattled. That shot was probably never on for Symonds.
