When we have Clarke injured and have Faulkner/Marsh, keeper, Johnson and Coulter-Nile batting at 7-10 I don't absolutely hate Finch being a part of the team who's job is to face a maximum of 300 balls.

But, yeah I agree in some ways, he's definitely lucky to be in the team, while White and Ferguson are unlucky.

I still like White as a roughy for test cricket. At least his technique is no more suss than other fringe candidates like Hughes Usman and Doolan
