Francois just demonstrated the perfect way to acknowledge a 50. Pretend it's small and insignificant and like you're only raising your bat because you've been persuaded to do so. This way it tells everyone 'pffft please, that **** is common for me' even when it's not.

why are all the cameramen trying to follow the ball? why aren't there at least a couple of cameras in fixed positions on the batsmen?

That dismissal of Kallis where the ball was out of shot for much of it would've been infuriating if the rear view hadn't picked it up.
