Fielding has really been the difference here. SA's **** up in the PP was just as much the scoreboard pressure from the quality infielding in that portion of the game as the quality bowling from starc and haze. None of the chances SA have dropped have been easy, but you really need to take a few of those 4 in a low defence like this.

The good thing is that there's no run rate pressure at all so they really can just sit on them for the next ten overs or so

Main issue for SA is that these two can only bowl 14 more overs. You'd think they'd have to do most if not all of the damage

Problem for SA here is reflected in Shamsi’s figures. He’s bowled beautifully but still going at fives. I’d really think about bringing up everyone except backward square, put two blokes around the bat and ask him to bowl them out
