Only one more over left for what is effectively the fifth bowling option. Mathews got through six and Dilshan has bowled three, they have gone for 42 from their nine overs so far, think Sanga would take that.

Bang on 4 rpo. Not sure what to think atm, don't see us having a particularly profitable last ten against the three Ms though.

Not sure Malinga will go the 10...though given the options I suppose he has to.

Jayasuriya would have been really useful today.

New Zealand are doing alright imo, we know that they can accelerate at the end of their innings, just need to bat the 50.

Malinga goes for a few runs tbh. But he leaks about as many in the middle overs as he does at the death and always looks close to a wicket.

Bar one delivery, and maybe Taylor edging a ball through where slip would be. NZ have handled Malinga perfectly.

They're cruising IMO. Doing really well.

The cumulative figures for the three specialist spin options is currently - 18-2-57-2. Going at just over three an over to the specialist twirlers, need to ensure their last 12 overs are closer to a run a ball.

May not get the full allocation, althought I expect he'll bowl a few now before the ball change and then a few more at the death, but he is proving expensive in comparison.

Scotty! Hard to believe that barely a year ago people were saying he should never play again.

Oh dear at Mark Waugh talking about coconuts in Sri Lanka.

Damien Fleming's face and reaction when he said that was gold. "I've never had coconuts in Sri Lanka"

NZ should take the PP from the 36th over. Make Malinga bowl 5 on the trot.
Yeah pretty decent call this. Need to force Malinga to bowl at an awkward time, the Sri Lankan spinners may go for a couple in the death if someone gets going.
