***Official***Semi-Final #1- India vs New Zealand - November 15th - Wankhede, Mumbai (D/N)

White Ball

State 12th Man
I am a bit anxious about this match it looks a good deck I was hoping we would have started scoring at 10 an over from the get go, but already we are dipping to 9.57.

This is woeful bowling tbh, so much leg side crap early on. We're also not managing the game well - it's not a bad idea to give Rohit an easy single and bowl at Gill for a bit, but he's dominating the strike instead
Rohit isn't hitting many singles though.

Better from Boult.

Now that I've said that, he'll probably finish this over with a couple of half-trackers that get belted into the upper deck.

Yep, and clearly pace off's the way to go on a road like this with short boundaries.

this is probably one of those pitches where the new ball comes on nicely but once the ball gets soft it sticks in the pitch

Boult's pretty clearly trying to bowl very straight to Rohit, which is probably fair tbh even if he strays down leg sometimes. Knows that Rohit will thrash any width through the offside.

NZ might have missed a trick here by not playing Jamieson (is he fit?) , he might not be as great in LOIs but does have a bit of hold over the India batsman.

Credit to Rohit , he's probably reflected on all those lost knockout games he's played in and identified that an aggressive opener was missing in the partnerships he had with Dhawan and Rahul, and has made the necessary adjustments. Sign of a great leader
