No - not a concussion.
The should change the rules to Allow like for like sub. So if a bowler breaks down you can replace with another bowler. This is consistent with every major team sport eg soccer or basketball. Even T20? Allows this?. All teams to benefit equally

Khawaja really looking like he has a lot of time against this stuff.
Khawaja has been one of the world’s best players of short bowling all his career & averages something like 280 against it in his test career

if eng lose ashes playing bazball- its time to finish bazball for good- Mccullum career will almost certainly be over or untenable. he will get dumped as Eng never lost a home ashes since 2001, so bazball will be proven a sham(as they played normal cricket in all the other series- and won or drew)
England hadn't won a test series in Pakistan or a test in NZ for a very long time before Bazball either.

57 extras for the match from England btw. Not quite a full extra batter across both innings but getting there.

Yeah but being adaptable is what makes very good/ great players. These guys aren’t known for their defensive games. I don’t know that they can do that. For all the bluster, was their first innings run rate meaningfully higher than Australia’s? I don’t think it ended up being so. Really good players have gears, not just one, whether it’s first or fifth
Absolutely. I'm not suggesting England are capable of doing this.

NZ lost their main bowlers re that loss. No Boult or Jamieson or Ferguson. If they had even one they are tough to beat

Pak tracks were too flat in that series but if it's a big ashes loss here at home, they will have to admit failure- Aus team is nowhere near the ATG level of prior teams.
