Well done Oz.

Hard to see us winning the series from here but you never know with this team I guess.

Nah Stokes didn't really look right after lunch, like he'd swung all the energy out of him beforehand, and Australia bowled a lot better to him. It was just kind of hard to see where the runs were going to come from if he didn't go the slog and Aus made that a hell of a lot harder once they got the line right.
i.e Cummins’ plan all along. Masterclass.

Laxman was nothing like this. I don't think I've seen a guy who through sheer single-mindedness change the course of the game in like twenty minutes.
Yeah Stokes is on a different level again because of the speed at which he turns games like this around. Laxman is one of my AT faves but he was like Federer to Stokes’ Nadal in these sort of situations. One was graceful and picked you apart, the other muscles his way past you

Can't argue with the fight and character your lot have shown in the last two days tbf, this game looked veeery much done after Day 3. But just too many critical errors in the first half of the game and while it's forgotten now, letting an Australian side get to 330/3 on Day 1 under clouds and lights when you've sent them in is absolutely criminal. Far worse in hindsight than the hookathon on Day 2.

Tbh, if England win the 3rd, which it feels like they are due, I wouldn't be surprised to see it go 2-2 heading to the Oval.

best Series for a very very long time with the drama etc etc.

They could have actually run a few. There were a lot of twos on offer.
