Ridiculous collapse. To go from 69/1 at the end of Day 4 to 129 all out is just laughable batting. Agreed on the attack too, it's so many leagues above this current Australian attack it's not even comparable. As you mentioned, 2 all-time greats, a genuine quick and a man in Stuart Clark, who at the time was bowling beautifully. Heck of an attack, and a heck of a team. So glad we're not playing that team this time round!

That ball Wane got KP out in the second innings was a beauty, around the back of his legs to hit off stump.

I love Jonathan Trott. That delivery was fairly comfortably outside off-stump and it's whipped through mid-wicket for 4. WAFG.

Side on shot shows exactly why the Oz bowlers simply need to bowl virtually everything up and around off stump to Cook - simply does not commit to front foot so there is little danger of being punished regularly and a good chance of creating a wicket

Tbh, Anderson was at his most dangerous when the ball was new and he was getting some oustswing, but as a top order batsman one is expected to grind out that period which Ponting and Clarke just failed to do, apart from Anderson the rest of the bowlers were steady at best so there is just no excuse for Australia batsmen there.
When Strauss got out early had Trott and Cook started wafting loosely then England could have been in the same predicament, and that difference in application has been the primary difference between the two batting line-up's IMO....
