*Official* Second Test at the Adelaide Oval

I've torn a stomach muscle before and it is absolutely horrific. Gutted for Broad but to be fair, Tremlett has his chance to shine now.

If the next deck looks flat... would it be worth Trem coming in for Broad and another bowler taking over from Colly?

We need 20 wickets after all... and the batting looks unreally strong anyway.

We've just received a comment from Dr. Nick Peirce, England's Chief Medical Officer, who says: "Stuart has a torn abdominal muscle and as such will take no further part in the current Ashes tour of Australia. Given the nature of the injury Stuart has been ruled out of the forthcoming ODI series against Australia as well. Stuart will return to England shortly to commence a rehabilitation programme and we expect him to make a full recovery in time for the World Cup next year."

From cricinfo. Guess he's back sooner then i herd or their being optimistic.

Just heard Katto is out, really hope Hughes is selected. He must be though because we don't have any other openers knocking down the door.
