Cricketweb Black vs Cricketweb Colts
@ Pickford Oval

Scorecard
Ball By Ball

The ever improving Black have surged to the top of the One Day table in recent matches and were hoping to continue their success against a rpidly declining Colts team desperate for a win. Colts won the toss and chose to bat, they Set a very competitive total on the back of some late innings hitting from Bosco Fitzsimmons and debutaunt Harvery Crockett. Fitzsimmons' 46 not out came in good time and backed up the good work done at the top of the order by opener Yngve Fjermestad and Daniel Towns. Matt Smith claimed three wickets in his return to the Black one day side, Colts made 293/5 from their 50 overs.

Colts would have been confident of a good showing with the ball but they lacked any penetration and in the end they rolled over and gave up a bonus point to Black. Despite losing Ash Chaulk for 33 to Crockett the home side looked in excellent form as James Stedman and fresh faced Daniel Speirs scored unbeaten hundreds to get their side home in 38 overs, in what must be a major worry for Colts selectors again none of their bowlers looked like taking a wicket and their recent form slump must be a huge worry.

Cricketweb Colts 293/5 (50)
DP Towns 90(118), YA Fjeremstad 69(72), BC Fitzsimmons 46*(29), MJ Smith 3/66

Cricketweb Black 294/1 (38)
DG Speirs 121*(98), JE Stedman 121*(107), HGT Crockett 1/50

Cricketweb Black won by 9 wickets with 72 ball to spare
Man of the Match: JE Stedman (CW Black)

Cricketweb Green vs Cricketweb Red

Scorecard
Ball By Ball

Cricketweb Green were desperate for a win against Red to keep up the pressure on Black and Colts as we moved to two thirds of the way through the one day season. Green won the toss and their impressive batting line up got first use of a nice deck and their openers didn't let them down. Nick Scott blasted an immense century as part of a 218 run opening stand, his partner Andrew Garven continued his good form too as he made 96, despite a middle order collapse which saw no one else pass 20 except for Dylan Cole Green were still able to post a brilliant total of 346/7 from their 50 overs. Kingsley Clapham, Mark Robbins Jnr and Martin West all took a couple of wickets each.

Cricketweb Red needed a minor miracle, when they slumped to 68/3 it was obvious just how much this batting line up relies on Rob Dauth, even today despite the fact he passed 150 for the third time in a row they were still unable to get the win. A heartbreaking 99 from Mitch Rapp had given Red the chance to steal this victory but there was too much work to do in the final overs which saw Ethan McNamara and Xavier Rose produce excellent overs. They were the only two successful bowlers for Green while there were also a couple of run outs, Red finished 317/4 as their season now hangs in the balance as they probably need to win all their remaining games to qualify for the finals after slipping to the foot of the table.

Cricketweb Green 346/7 (50)
NG Scott 153(123), AJ Garven 96(120), KR Clapham 2/56

Cricketweb Red 317/4 (50)
RJ Dauth 162*(162), M Rapp 99(109), XPA Rose 1/56

Cricketweb Green won by 29 runs
Man of the Match: NG Scott (CW Green)

Not batting = ghey.

Watching another Colts thrashing at the hands of two batsmen = Win.

Good stuff!

Keeping the pressure up for a finals spot. Scott/Garven yet again proving that if you can hit 350, you'll rarely lose.

Oh ffs, OD bowling has just been a monumental **** up for us this season, have had about 2 matches where the opposition hasn't been scoring at 6+

Dauth is immense though, three 150+ scores in a row :O

Much needed victory to keep in finals contention there. Happy to make another big score to set up a big enough total on a flat wicket.

Awesome, finally i get a bat and i didn't get out. Reasonable bowling performance too, though a wicket would've been awesome.

Awesome win though.
