Italy far more competitive against NZ, if they hadn’t given away so many scrum penalties would’ve been pretty close.

Hopefully they can rebuild, under who I am not sure
They had a decent crop of players who have all retired in a small space of time. Everyone knew the quality wasn’t there behind them, still not sure why Gatland took the job. He may not be playing a style to suit his resources, but not sure the results would be much different anyway.

Scotland probably deserve to be ahead here, wallabies execution has been terrible.

Busby's ruck interpretations leave alot to be desired. Scotland flying in off feet at own rucks, laying on the wrong side when aus in possession, and winning penalties when the player on the wrong side impacts the clean out.

Bugger that Suaili is gone, need a huge game from Ikitau now.

Scotland laying more pancakes than an American Breakfast at the ruck, but are the better side right now. Not sure where the spark will come for the wallabies, nobody looks particularly willing apart from Valetini and Tizzano (who get pinged for winning good steals)

wtf was McDermott thinking with that cross kick. all the defenders offside and you kick it to the one bloke who can stop a guaranteed try. That's the ball game.

Sidenote: Scotland rolling wrong way on wrong side of rucking slowing wallaby attack goes unpunished again shocker.

Second half has been dominant, Scotland controlling the game. A reminder that they won’t be short of Lions representatives.

McDermott's cross kick changed the whole game really, wallabies score there, suddenly only 4 down, all to play for. one of the dumbest plays from a 9 I've seen in a very long time.

Magic try for Harry Potter. Not sure why TMO read the paper 19 times to decide it was a try.

Scotland deserve the win, busby deserves a stint in tackling school as the bag.

Was worried at half time we hadn't taken advantage of our pressure in the last 10 mins.

Can we please ****ing show up against Ireland in 3 months?

Interesting numbers coming out of the RFU. Apparently, the CEO, Bill Sweeney, has been awarded a £360k bonus as a result of England Teams matching the 75% win profile he was targeted. The fact that the Women's Team at 98% helped him over the line is farcical, when their entire team bonus (£770k) should they win the 6 Nations and World Cup next year (which seems more than likely) would be less than his annual base salary!!

Scrum and some bad flick passes aside, not looking too bad here. Still expect Ireland to win bigly.

Surprised not a yellow for the Ireland #4 for head on head, had clear line of vision of Valetini the whole way and stood straight up into him, sure he'll cop 4 weeks on review though :fishing:

if TMO is going to get Valetini for a raised forearm defending himself, is he not going to get Hansen for the forearm to Valetini's chin in the same tackle?

Going to have a long day if TMO keeps coming in for things like that.

Well, that'll ruin some half/full time doubles. Expect Ireland will fix the lineout at halftime and romp away with it, they've probably left 15 points out there just from bad execution at the lineout.

Interested to see if Bell comes on at half time to sure up the scrum.

Well, Ireland always going to win it, but no disgrace in that loss. Couple decisions here and there and maybe it's a different result.

Edit: Pretty pleased with our defence as well tbh, big improvement from the Scotland game.
