One heck of a Saturday if I could get all these broadcasts to line up, suspect a few not going to be on camera though (Plus of course NZ v Ireland tomorrow night):

Expect England to win by 15 on Saturday v the Wobbs, hopefully Sua'ali'i plays well. First proper game of XV's in 5 years...must of been training the house down. Should be fun anyway.
Migingo Derby! :kicking::Jumpy:

Not a top 10 back in the NRL...but played origin...the pinnacle of RL. OK.

And he played pretty well for his first pro rugby game, so think folks are right to have a bit of hope about what he can bring, and some of that is probably relief he may not be a total bust.
Played union his whole life until then as well right? Doesn’t surprise me that he’s better at the game he’s always been playing

@Burgey Yep, he is indeed Peter's lad.

If league and AFL weren't as strong as they are in Aus, then yep, the Wallabies would be miles stronger, waste of talent that won't get to shine on an international stage 😉

@GotSpin
From what I've read, he played both, played 1st XV at King's when he was 14 and was simultaneously signed by NRL at about the same age, then had an exemption given to make his NRL debut before his 18th birthday (previously done for Taumololo back in 09 or so). Played Aus schoolboys union and sevens before his full time signing in NRL.

Hoping they play with similar flair next weekend, I'm heading to Cardiff for it.

Hope the Welsh don't send you home with tail between legs mate.
I wouldn't put it past the Welsh to beat us at all, Cardiff is a reasonably happy hunting ground for us, buts it's often taken a last minute try to get the W (memories of Kurtley Beale).

I'm just hoping I get on a train back to London in time after the game, I've got Monday off, but Mrs Ripper doesn't!

Congrats Australia

Yeah definitely a good one for the neutrals and better entertainment than seeing seven forwards come on after 60 minutes
I dont understand this, whats your point in this statement :confused1 . Bearing in mind ping pong Harlem Globetrotter rugby rarely works at the highest level. A lot of the time is a million passes going nowhere

Not sure how Raffel isn't a red card as well, Radradra's certainly is (perhaps an argument about player dipping) - Comms are talking about a clear line of sight, which is exactly what Raffel had as well to hit a bloke standing next to a ruck.

Thought there was more mitigation on the Fijian one. At least it’s not an 80 min red now.

Yeah I somewhat agree with that actually, just think the contact to head was more with bicep for Ruffel and shoulder for Radradra could have been the difference.

But yep, glad it's only a 20 minutes.

Fiji not getting the rub of the decisions IMO, could make a similar shift drive argument leading to Wales Pen try, it wouldn't be a strong one, but not sure how a player has an arm free while holding the ball in the other and is classed as 'bound'.

Should be a fun 2nd half at least, just a shame no Radradra to enjoy it.

Did you see the Scottish red card? Only saw it once and had no idea what it was for. Felt like the second tackle was more dangerous.
Crocodile roll. You are simply not allowed to do that even if it ends up not doing anything to the player. Zero tolerance.

Yeah was to do with landing on the players legs in a dangerous position or something wasn't it? I was only half watching at the time.

Dont see Scots pulling back 10 points here now.

SA looked poor/rusty. Hendricks was not good at scrum half. Worst game he has had for SA.

But in the end just too much power.

Yes very scratchy win.
Although the match had a hilarious moment when the ref called the captains and asked them to tell their palyer to stop the argy bargy meanwhile it was the SA captain involved in the fighting :laugh:
