Anyway I will ask people like Voltman, Perm etc. iwith the AB's form is there a sense that next will be now or never for them, if they don't win the World Cup then they won't win iot again?
No.

NZ will pretty much be favourites for every World Cup in the forseeable future. Whether they win them is another matter entirely.

Suprised and a little sad for Aaron Mauger as no place has been found for him in the ABs "Top 22" that Hansen has named for the Paris test match, with Nonu getting the nod over him for no.12.

I would have thought England were hardly in the position to have a rotation policy. I mean for the All Black's it wouldn't matter as they probably would win with what ever side they put out (in their touring squad that is).
It's been put in place because the elite players have been playing too many matches & are getting injured quite regularly - the British domestic season is packed. It's also to keep the clubs happy - there's ongoing friction between the premiership clubs & the England management.

To be fair Lewsey, Cueto and Balshaw are a pretty reasonable back 3. But Sackey looked reasonable promising over the last couple of weeks.
Balshaw's now broken so obviously Robbo calls Cohen back to fill in with Lewsey moving to 15.

Has there ever been a player who's contributed so little for so long & still be retained?

Erm, if Cohen scores one more try he'll move to clear second in England's all-time try-scoring list. I think that says a lot.

Recall for Rory Underwood on the cards then? He's clear at number one! :p

He's average. Wouldn't make it at league.

Where could I see this list btw? Can't find it.

Dunno. I'm sad enough to know Underwood is at number one with (IIRC) 49 tries. Cohen & Greenwood second with 31 each. Think Jerry Gusgit is third with 30.

Interesting to see Dallaglio and Back in the list for top try scorers for England, think that's an indication as to the forward play that England used during their era but also how good those two were at controlling things and finishing off moves.

I honestly don't think that the All Black team named to play in Paris is out Top 15. It's pretty ridiculous having Nonu over both Mauger and McCalister who are better players than he will ever be.

This poll shows how stupid the general New Zealand rugby public are, it's unbeleivable how low people rate guys like Aaron Mauger and Rodney Soialo. They aren't the flashiest of players but they are the best in their position at the moment.

Nonu is hugely over rated. Mauger and McAlister are far better options.

Another insipid performance from the Boks, which is a pity seeing as Francois Steyn and Butch James were firing on all cylinders for the majority.. Someone has to answer for this loss to one of the worst England sides of all time.. When you go to England you aim to end careers, not leave 13 of your best players at home.. It would have been nice to have avenged what happened to us last time we toured England and got stuffed when they were actually good.. But clearly some of our management appear to be forgetting what pride means..

And now we have to play a slightly uplifted England side again next week

Rant over
