I don't follow rugby, but congrats to New Zealand. It looks like they had the rub of the green as they always do in sporting finals against England.

My mum just loved a rugby game for the first time in her life.

All her kids played the game, she's watched a few matches over the years. But she chose to watch that by herself and apparently loved it.

Unbelievable transformation by this team after that disastrous northern hemisphere tour last year. Super impressed by the players and all the coaching staff.

Such a fun tournament from start to finish, too. I was a bit nervous about half-empty stands leading into it, but it's been incredible to see NZ get behind the World Cup and our team. I hope this is just the beginning for public engagement in women's rugby here, rather than being a fun one-off.

Feel really sorry for England, though. They've been incredible for years and put in a massive effort tonight. Must be crushing for them.
