Was thinking about the Aussie players after reading this article on Watto. This next six months is surely career-defining for the trio of Clarke-Watson-Johnson, with the home Ashes and WC. Four years ago Clarke played some part, but not a key one, Watson a few slogged innings at the WC, and Johnson no part at all. And in four years time they're going to be 34, and it's quite plausible that Clarke will be the only one still playing. If they want to be one of those players everyone remembers, rather than just a good one, a stellar six months might just do it.

Pretty poor effort from Strauss, clearly he should have framed that sentence with 'At the end of the day', 'we're going to give 110%' and 'we won't die wondering'

I wonder if the fact that KP has been working with his mentor Graham Ford again will help him regain his form. KP claims to have rediscovered shots of old. Hopefully this can help him.

Does anyone else think the following extract (from a cricinfo article) would not have been out of place in a copy of Mein Kampf:

"Strauss also attempted to put to bed talk about injuries sustained during the team's bonding camp in Germany. James Anderson returned with a cracked rib and it also emerged that Chris Tremlett suffered bruising"
