Oh and yes, congrats Pakistan. Forgot to do that.

Well deserved place in the semis. Such an exciting team.

Look stronger at the top with Shezhad out as well. Hafeez and Akmal are hardly consistent, but they have more experience than the young bloke and that should serve them well in the business end of the tournament.

Akmal in the business ($$$) end. Sounds fishy

That's a really impressive performance from Pakistan.. Are they now favourites 'til the other games get played?

Na...India, Australia, SL, SA, ENG, all are stronger teams still....our bowling must click in order for us to win..and so far its been great...when it doesn't click...we are in deep ****...plus if we face India in the semis...it will be much harder to win..Indian batting is massive...

Congrats to Pakistan!! :)

Very disappointing from the WI. You expect teams to lift their performance when the knockout stages arrive, but not only did the WI not lift for this game, they didn't turn up at all.
The decision to bat first was always a little risky, but that batting effort was truly woeful.

Pakistan have certainly made a statement here. The most impressive thing for me is that almost all the Pakistan players are contributing. They're actually playing as a team. I don't think it's a coincidence that this change in the way Pakistan plays coincides with the appointment of Waqar Younis as coach. :)

Pakistani fans are so passionate. Bangladesh was very generous and issued 10,000+ Multiple entry visa for Pakistani's. Even India issued 5000 visas thats 1/6th of total capacity of Mohali and Wankhede. Lotsa cheering and flags for Pakistan on Indian soil. Pakistan team got support of quality fans.

Yeah we must take this opportunity to thank our neighbors for being such gracious hosts. Thank you India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

Absolutely. The Bangladeshi crowd was amazing in its support for Pakistan. Same goes for the Sri Lankans and the matches we played there. And unless we draw India, I expect the pattern would hold true in the Semi in India. Thank you all! :)

regarding Afridi and captaincy someone made a very good post on Pakpassion few days back basically he said Pakistan is an unprofessional side with lots of individuals with inflated ego's so its better that the biggest alpha male among them gets to be the leader found it to be a really interesting take on things.
