I loved it mate. I watched the documentary within hours of getting it and have watched all of disc 2 as well. Got a couple of matches to watch on disc 3 but they are all ones I've watched fairly recently.

The extras on disc 1 are epic as well.

All in all, of the individual superstar DVDs, it's up there for me personally with From the Vault (Shawn's first) and the Flair ones.

I should get it next week sometime, asked my Mum if she would get it for me for my Birthday haha. Looking forward to it TSTL.

Thinking about getting the SD vs RAW game as well...You usually seem quite on the ball with these things MB, have you played it?

Yeah I've played SD vs Raw 2011. It's not much different from last year's version to be honest so if you have SD vs Raw 2010, give it a miss. However if you have SD vs Raw 2009, it's radically different from the other games. The RTWM mode has a roaming backstage area which adds to the depth of gameplay.

Roaming around the backstage area gets annoying after a while though and you just want to progress with your storyline rather than do mundane tasks in the backstage area. RTWM this year has vs. Undertaker, Christian, Chris Jericho, John Cena and Rey Mysterio stories. I've played through the Christian, vs. Undertaker and now Rey Mysterio ones and all three have been good so far.

WWE Universe is a pretty neat concept but they could've done so much better with it. It's great because it's someting different that hasn't been on previous SD vs Raw games but there is a tendency for the same guys to feud each other and some main event wrestlers never feature in main events but that's your challenge to mix things up and push people you want to see in the main event picture. I'd imagine they can only improve the concept for future games.

Overall I'd give the game an 8/10. Last year's game was awesome and this year's game isn't much different but if you haven't bought a SD vs Raw game in a while, you might want to upgrade this year.

Oh man just watched that video again. Massively pumped. What a finish that was, so tense.

One of my favourite wrestling moments ever.

Can't get over SummerSlam 2002. So good. So so good.

Thanks MB, I may well give it a spin. I've not played any version since the 2009 one. Which though good did become a bit repetitive after a while, and frustrating. It's not too expensive at the moment, and does look rather cool, so I'm very tempted to give it a go, particularly if it is a radical improvement on the 2009 version.

Anyone catch RAW last night? Thought it was a pretty good show, although I was disappointed that Sheamus won KOTR, don't think he really needed it. Would have been a lot better for someone like John Morisson I think. Still, was an entertaining evening, loved the main event, and even though I knew it was never going to happen I was still marking out and shouting for the King to get up that ladder and get the belt. Michael Cole, WAC.

Loving Punk on commentary more every week, cracked me up when Cena appeared and put Slater through the announce table. "Very Mature!" and then "He spilled my diet soda." Was great stuff. Santino had me rolling up as well.

I did mention that in my subsequent post tbf. Awesome match. Rock could put people over so well.

I thought this at first, but on reflection if he is to remain a credible main event player (which the creative team clearly want him to be) he needs to have some way to stay strong despite not being in the world title picture. Morrison has come out of this whole thing looking pretty strong too, so I don't think him not winning will have any negative impact on his momentum either.

The IWC has been giving the main event a panning in some circles, but I thought it was actually really good. Jerry Lawler WAG. Not sure where I stand on the whole Juan Cena thing though, though the star power might not be there, I really think the show is good enough to get by without him for a while. But then again that is just me, maybe the ratings say otherwise. Hope they handle it better than the Hogan/Captain America thing though, because that was a bit lame.

Juan Cena is only appearing on house shows AFAIK.

Cena himself will be doing naughty run-ins through the crowd etc and attacking Nexus, on Raw.

While I understand where you're coming from and don't necessarily disagree with it, I still feel that Morrison would have benifit more from a KotR victory than Sheamus would, and also really needed it more than he did. For one thing, I think in most peoples eyes Sheamus is already an established main eventer and Morrison is a mid card guy. Sheamus has already had world title runs etc, which gives him a certain amount of credibility already.

Then you've gotta remember that HHH is going to return any day now apparently, and will most likely jump straight into a feud with Sheamus after the whole way he went out when he was going for surgery and what not. Short of being the champion there's probably nothing more likely that's going to cement a guy as being one of the top players in the 'E than being booked against Trips, who while probably not the top guy in the company right now (Cena, Orton etc) definitely has the most legit name in the company if you get where i'm coming from. He's built up such a name and legacy for himself over his career that he's at that stage now where just working against him on an equal level is enough to signify that you're a top guy, similar to 'Taker.

Like I said I don't disagree with your assessment or feel aggrieved about Sheamus winning, I just think in the overall picture it would have been better for the 'E if they'd used this opportunity to take Morrison to that next level rather than using it to cement Sheamus there.

I wanted Morrison to win because I'm a mark for him, but we'll see what Sheamus does with it.

Personally thought they could have had Morrison win and use it as a reason to challenge The Miz...in a TLC match...that's markish fantasy booking at its best but it is the next gimmick PPV

Miz-Orton will probably be pretty good, and even Edge-Kane should entertain in that environment where Edge has never really failed to deliver.

World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of WWE Superstar MVP as of December 2, 2010. WWE wishes MVP the best in all future endeavors.
Hmmm, bit of a shame, but kind of saw this one coming a mile off. I gather though that he has asked for his release, rather than being fired. I would say this is probably the right move for him at this stage. Something seems to has stalled in his development, and could probably do with some time away to freshen up his image/persona. Hope he comes back though, really liked him when he was an up and coming heel, really got some good heat and was hilarious on the mic, though I thought he had it in him to make a good face as well, his turn to face really damaged his momentum somehow and with so many other young stars emerging around him it seemed he never really managed to catch up with the likes of Morrison, McIntyre, Kofi, Ziggler, Rhodes and DiBiase. Best of luck to him though, like I say, would be good to see him back one day.

Yeah bit of a shame to see MVP go like this. He was talented and probably deserved better during his time in WWE but I think he was a little lazy sometimes and apparently had a pretty laid back attitude backstage so I'm not surprised that he was relegated to the mid card and that he lost motivation.

I think he did ask for his release which isn't always bad. TNA would love to have him but I think he intends on wrestling in Japan and Puerto Rico so good luck to him. It's always possible that he might return to the WWE in the future. But for now it looks like he's heading internationally to wrestle, which is never a bad idea as it'll give him a lot more experience and exposure around the world.

I think going to wrestle in Japan and Puerto Rico would be a fantastic move for him tbh, it would give him a lot of great life experiences as well as being able to build substantially on his in ring experience. If he comes through it well he could return to the WWE in a few years totally refreshed and really push for a top spot. Moving to TNA would be a really poor move, however. Their card is already full of guys who the E decided they didn't need or weren't happy with, and the last thing he needs to be is another addition to that slag heap. The last thing TNA needs is another guy that can be labelled as a "WWE Reject" as well, regardless of how talented he is.

MVP isn't exactly young so you can't blame him for wanting to do something different if he feels like he's just spinning his wheels.

When he got drafted to Raw in 2009 it looked like they were going to push him hard, I remember him confronting Orton. The guy oozed charisma and I really don't know why the fans wouldn't get behind him, but I do believe that's why his push was pulled. Good luck to him.

Looks like Samoe Joe's TNA contract has expired. If I were him, I'd abandon that sinking ship as soon as possible. Samoa Joe is one of the handful of TNA guys who could walk into WWE and would not have any problems. He's got credibility, a unqiue look and name recognition. I certainly hope he doesn't hang around with TNA and ends up going to the WWE.
