I still think there's a way for Christian to come out looking like a champion with Batista still not losing any momentum (such as a run in and a subsequent dq by Triple H). Christian could obviously outwrestle Batista any time of the week (technically, not in terms of power), and he's HUGE overseas (infact he was a face during the Raw house shows in Australia), so I think WWE should try and elevate both of them.

But this is the WWE and you know they'll screw both (Christian and Batista) over.

He can certainly act better than Cena....infact he's more charismatic and a better all round entertainer than Cena, not to mention being a better technical wrestler.

Anyways, I guess your entitled to your opinion. But for me and a lot of other wrestling fans, Cena sucks.

Regarding the current wrestling scenario.... a few aspects :-

The Raw Championship :- doing good.

The smack down championship - dude the changing of the belt was the worst moment in the history of the championship. Worse than Cena actually winning it.

The doubles championships - give it to genuine doubles teams like in the past (the steiners, the smoking gunns) and bring in some respectability.

Cruiserweight - I am liking the way they are going on about it

US tite/intercontinental - not bad

And what will happen of Triple H after his feud with Dave Batista? Any thoughts on that any one?

Its almost assumed that the draft lottery will see atleast ONE superstar go to smack down. I would love it if it was Christian. He rocks much more than cena and I would love Carlito smash Christian for the Championship.

Also the match with Triple H can have him gaining some legitimacy even though he loses albeit after an interference from Dave.

Well officially, I'm a member of the Christian Coalition and also am a PEEP.

Practically the entire New York City was too, as are most of the people on this thread (except for psxpro )

But cena is very funny though, unlike christian, who is none of funny,evil, or anything interesting at all.
Christian's matches are boring to watch too.
Edge has also been much better than christian always.

I also thought promoting gurrero to be a smackdown champ/contender was a real mistake, he was better as the fun guy who was inconsisatant.

The fact that not many people cheer for Cena, his wrestling skills are slow, he fails to brin in passion in speech except when rapping (which has been avoided stupidly - the part of his character which was helping to elevate him), all add to dooms day for Cena.

Cena will make some sort of an impact later in his career as a heel. He has lost much of legitimacy as a face. It was partly because of losing a lot of championship matches ealier in his career to the likes of Brock coupled with the fact that he actually cant wrestle smoothly, telling a story while wrestling.

If some one does a you cant seem me or that stinky thing he does on his shoulder, he would get one tight slap, or better, apple all over his face.

i agree that he needs to rap more. Also everyone lost to brock.
The fans do like him. even people who dont have much interest in wwe enjoy cena but dont know who christian is.

Thing is Christian has to lose clean or maybe have Triple H interfere and somehow screw him over, but Batista has to look very strong next week and he's a hopeless seller so I can't see Christian with much offence or enough time in the match to make a major impression. Don't worry once he's on Smackdown he'll be in the ME pretty damn soon.

Add Hassan and Daivari, and they're why I watch WWE at the moment, since Angle's still injured and Eddie and Benoit are now jobbers/mid carders.

Cena has to have a huge championship match like a Hell in a Cell match or ladder match where he can prove he's a worthy entertainer...that'd be so cool...(because of the fact that inspite of his short-comings I cant seem to not like him)
