Really recommend you do. What you do is this. Watch the match in 'old school' mode. Do not, I repeat, do not judge the match based on today's standards. You have to watch the match, like you would have watched Rock vs. Hogan at Mania 18. Feel the moment, the presence of the wrestlers and the crowd's reaction.nikhil1772 said:I never watched Hogan Vs Warrior so I dont know about that...
Hey, by no means did the match suck. It just could have been a lot better considering it had one of the greatest technical wrestlers in WWE history, and one of the greatest pure performers in WWE history. Still a solid match, but IMO not the best ever. But by all means let it be your favouritenikhil1772 said:But I dont think you are going to like this Jono...my all-time favourite WrestleMania main event is Bret Vs HBK at WMXII
Here we go again...we were not talking about the best WM match ever, were we?Jono said:Hey, by no means did the match suck. Oh man...They had a ladder match?I guess I had not started watching wrestling as yet that time...I have not even seen the Ramon-HBK ladder match...I have missed a lot!Jono said:If you want a great Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels match, watch their Ladder Match. Yes, they had a ladder match. The first one ever. It was at a house show, so not many know about it and think Razor Ramone vs. Shawn @ Mania 10 was the first ever. But it wasn't
LMAO So true.duffer said:Even HBK couldn't **** Benoit's moment or steal his glory.
They aren't copyrighted, are they?duffer said:In fact I've got so many Hitman matches lying around it isn't funny, so I'll upload heaps of em when I can find a place for em.
jeff was terrific before 2002 - since then he became lazy and demotivated and the 'e' only ran matches between him and RVD (who also deserves better). all i can say is i hope they push matt who was thoroughly awesome as the sensei of mattitude if anyone can remember back to 2002?sledger said:to be honest i miss the good old days of mick foley before wwf or wwe as it is now had to cut down and sensor violence due to the amount of kids watching, it became too popular for its own good in my opinion now, the company seem to be more concerned about making money and feeding the fans recycled storylines over and over, the dare devil side to things that foley possesd has nearly vasnished completely, the only ones who are left but i fear that even they are selling out are RVD and thats about it.....
Jeff hardy was always great to watch as well.
personally: hope they give to to jerichoJono said:Who are everyone's picks for the Elimination Chamber at New Years Revolution for the vacant world title?
Triple H vs. Randy Orton vs. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. Batista
I still have my money on Edge, though his odds would have dropped by now. I'd really like to see him take it, and go on to battle Benoit at Mania 21, with a Batista vs. Triple H feud being done without the world title.
Jericho, for the third time straight, has been included in the Elimination Chamber with absolutely no chance of winning. Happened at Survivor Series in 2002, happened at SummerSlam in 2003, and is happening again. I just wish they'd hype him as at least a possible winner!
edge vs benoit is gd, i dunno if theyd make it for the title though? i thought theyve been building to some HHH vs Orton or Batista programmeJono said:Yes, I'd like Benoit to win it, and Edge take it from him at Mania. That would rock. It would work too, since it's bloomingly obvious that JBL will hold the WWE title till Mania, and drop it to a face. That way the WWE can still have their 'Mania' moment for the face like they have every year.
