Would be the end of any hint of smark support though. He'd get the John Cena treatment for the rest of his career.

Oh and Finn Balor's dropkick at 1:28 is so brutal:

Just watched Rock vs Austin III from WM19. Such a great match - definitely my favourite of all their encounters. You can really tell Austin is hurtling like crazy pretty much from the first bell, but yet he still bumps like crazy throughout the match. WAFG.

Except for the rock bottom right? I remember that looking really soft, and then realising it's cos Austin is ****ed

It was? Don't remember that.

The Rock was amazing in WM19... carried Stone Cold to a great match by not just doing the work in-ring, but also did some really cool heel character stuff. Him wearing Austin's shirt to mock him ,then getting his ass kicked and trying to make it seem as though the shirt was cursed was hilarious. And heel Rock selling the stunner was the greatest thing.

Yeah just rewatched. Wasn't as bad as I remember, just remember the first rock bottom which Austin kicked out of didn't look great. Second one he landed strong though.

Just trying out my free trial of the WWE network. Opened up with some NXT from March 2014.

All the wrestling available to you and you start with that. Come on dude
I started with NXT too, incidentally. It's honestly better than the majority of RAW/Smackdown/B-tier PPVs.

And get this, Sami Zayn is actually being kept in NXT for an extra year because of how much him and the rest of NXT roster have boosted Network subscriptions. So me and Manee are hardly alone.

You all must get sick of me going on about NXT, but it's genuinely been phenomenal since around 2012. As OS says, Zayn is that good that although he doesn't need NXT, NXT needs him. Along with the other guys and the women, it's a great show.

Haha I'm not knocking NXT, but you know, the network has every NWA/WCW, ECW and WWE PPV, Saturday night main event, clash of the champions, some old raws and nitros (though they need to make more nitro episodes available), a bit of WCCW. If you've only got it for the trial (and tbf Manee didn't say that) then I know what I'd choose

All that being said I was disappointed to discover that original NXT from 2010 isn't on there, wanted to watch Barrett's winds of change promo

I believe they are to continue to add to it, so hopefully the early NXT stuff will end up on there. I hoping to see Zayn's debut because after checking wiki, I remember the show but it's not on the Network nor Youtube

Oh yeah, that's the meat of the network. But starting with something current which you might have missed, which was what happened with me, because I missed several NXT events was the logical start.

First thing after that I'm going to catch the Flair vs Steamboat trilogy from 89 :D

There is too much on there I found it hard deciding where to start. Watching some 96-97 WWE and WCW at the minute. I did watch the first starrcade last week. It was pretty turd.

The developmental territory (where the young guys practise, but on TV). It's grown now however to being something a bit more than just where the young guys practise
