The women roster is not that thick while the male roster is thick yet they get only 30 participants in which some deserving wrestlers miss out

I think it's to present the Women's rumble as equal to the mens. Yes the roster of women is smaller but I think it's pretty bold of them to not just have it as a 15-20 women rumble like I initially thought they would.

Vince is not exactly known for his SJW leanings tbf. I'd be shocked if any of the Mc Mahons or Trips did not vote Republican on the regular.

They are taking a risk with the two rumbles for sure. The women simply don't have the depth to put on a decent 30 person rumble, so they will be relying on cheap pops of legends returns and goodwill from the crowd who due to his historic of it won't turn on unless it gets horrible.

I'm not writing it off yet, the two betting favs are Ronda and Asuka and either of them winning will be cool with me. Nia and Becky who are third and fourth favs would not be that horrific either. As long as the truly abysmal Natalya does not win or is in it to long we should be ok.
